The library will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Old Home Day, Saturday, August 9. Stop by and visit the library, catch up with neighbors and friends, and view the many scrapbooks from years past. A locally made DVD, "Reflections of my Rumney Home," will be playing throughout the day, displaying the lovely scenery and buildings in our hometown. Our annual Book Sale will be held outside the library from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. We have many books for sale at a great price, so drop by and see what's available. </FONT></DIV> <DIV class=s4 style='margin-top: 2mm;margin-bottom: 2mm;'> <FONT style='font-family:"Comic Sans MS";'>Children in the Byron G. Bear Story Club who have participated in the Summer Reading Program, "G'Day for Reading," will be marching in the Old Home Day parade, which begins at 10 a.m. The children will also be performing some Australian songs on stage in the common at 12 noon. Children who are participating in the performance will meet at the library at 11:30 a.m. and walk over to the common together. Don't miss the chance to see some of our local children show off their talent! </FONT></DIV> <DIV class=s4 style='margin-top: 2mm;margin-bottom: 2mm;'> <FONT style='font-family:"Comic Sans MS";'>The Rumney Historic Museum, located right next to the library, will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Old Home Day.
