RUMNEY
Old Home Day
Rumney Old Home Day Thanks
On behalf on the Old Home Day Committee I would like to express our appreciation to all the many folks that helped make this year's Old Home Day a big success. The weather certainly did cooperate. Without the assistance from the Highway Department, Fire Department and Auxiliary, Historical Society, Rumney Baptist Church, Russell Elementary School, Byron G. Merrill library staff, and the local businesses we would not be able to have such an event. To the parade participants, judges, runners, program participants, and evening activity participants much thanks and appreciation for what you did. To all the folks that came by either the common or the school we thank you. Congratulations to Zanita Collins on being awarded the Boston Post Cane. It was an honor to be able to include that event in the day's activities. A special thanks to all the committee members who worked so diligently for so long to make all the right things happen I thank each one of you.
We look forward to our 2010 event on August 14 so save that date.
